CAPE COD TANGO TEACHING SCHEDULE, 2017

We are delighted that Hsueh-Tze Lee is our new advisor.. We have contracted with her to teach the month of April. She has agreed to teach here for three months  in 2017.
Hsueh-tze is passionate about fundamentals!
She has suggested that we could do a 90 minute to 2 hour fundamental class on some Thursdays rather than an all levels class if we like. We will need to be certain we have some beginners lined up if we are going to make this a dedicated beginner class --enough total participants to make it financially viable. Input from you as to how to attract beginners and deal with drop ins would be welcome.

In May Hsueh-tze will teach May 11. We will have practicas the first and third week in May to work on the elements Hsueh-tze has presented and a pre-Memorial Day weekend milonga the last week.

In June we have Marc Vanzwoll for his last lesson here the first week followed by world renowned tanguera, Brigitta Winkler on June 8.  We are hoping to have a farewell party for Marc. He may come with his good friend Brigitta on the 8th. We have invited them to stay with us.
The last two weeks of June are milonga lessons by Adriana Pinto.

Hsueh-tze is back for all of July. We need to decide what sort of lessons we want for then, especially if we attract some beginners. Please send your feedback.

August we are doing only practilongas.

September we most likely have either Fernanda  Ghi or Guillermo Merlo for the last two weeks. Keith and I are going to Yellowstone the first two weeks of the month and what happens at CCT is undecided. Anyone want to take responsibility for these dates? Housing plus arranging studio time?practicas?

October we have Hsueh-tze again. Beginners or all levels?

This is the teaching schedule. We are proud and grateful to have these internationally known and respected teachers coming here to teach. When and how we do beginner classes--and how we find beginners to fill them-- is open for discussion.

I will be responsible to secure housing and studio space for guest teachers.
I will continue to do the newsletter and offer my home for housing as much as I can and arrange housing when I can't.
Keith will do music when we are here and leave music CDs for when we are away.
Please think about how we find, teach and retain beginners. New dancers should be our current priority. What are you willing and able to do? How do you think we should incorporate beginners on Thursday night?
We are good for instruction through the end of October.

Anyone want to plan and house instructors, check on available studio space for Thursday and Friday for November and December?
If not, Keith and I will forge ahead with what we can do..
